I was born in 1988 in a country that does not exist anymore. I grew up in a city that was just reborn and wanted to catch up fast. Climbing into abondonded buildings and stumbling upon unexpected art installments was a common after school activity.
When I finished school and my mandatory social service I felt like doing my own thing. I teamed up with a friend to start a streetwear label. We had some good years but eventually agreed, that we wanted to move on. At the age of 23 I designed the psycho collection for ic! berlin ?. I enrolled for product/process design at university of arts a year later and did a semester at Pratt Institute?. Ikea Foundation awarded my recycling furniture. I had a post-punk-NDW-band while I also worked for BILD, which was ironic. Afterwards I designed a light fixture for Domus Light as a junior designer at e27. I finished my B.A. in 2018 and exhibited my data-related thesis project in Berlin and Milan and got an ADC award for it. ?
I was the assistent of Tassilo von Grolmann and did some PowerPoints before I started at Storymachine as a senior designer. I went back to furniture afterwards at Bartmann Berlin and Möbel Horzon. There I realized, that really, what I wanted continue to do is strategic communicationconcepts and brand building.
Right now I am a creative director at PRPR GmbH Berlin, focused on CSR, sustainability ? and culture change communication.
